- Child care health consultation (CCHC) is a strategy that promotes the health and development of children, and supports families and child care providers as they ensure healthy, safe, and supportive early learning environments. Read more about the project overview here.
- Through public engagement to date, community members and stakeholders have shared their experience with
the following barriers and gaps affecting child care health consultation in King County. Read more about early findings here. - To ensure that services are delivered equitably across the County and alleviate race and place-based inequities, child care
health consultants will be supported, accessible, well-prepared, and working cohesively with the larger early learning system. Read the preferred goals and outcomes of this project here.
Summits
Kindering’s Systems Development team holds community cafes, focus groups, and interviews with providers, caregivers, and families (first for developing findings, then to vet strategies prioritized in summits and developed in work groups).
